Statutory municipal filing (published)
For cities/towns on the statutory schedule: filing February 1–3, 2027 (8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.), general election April 6, 2027.

Oklahoma City & Tulsa set their own calendars
Do not assume the statutory Feb 1–3 / Apr 6 dates apply to charter cities. Oklahoma City election materials list Ward 2, 5, 6, and 8 races for February 2027 (confirm with City Clerk). Tulsa and other home-rule cities follow charter/ordinance calendars. Always confirm with your city clerk and the county election board before printing literature or booking vendors.
Fundraising calendar
If your city files in February, start donor conversations in November–January. School board candidates on the Dec 7–9, 2026 window should not wait for municipal dates — see filing-week checklist.
